Photo: Tatsuo Nakamura / Pexels

How much are Tokyo Disney tickets in 2026?

Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea use variable pricing. One ticket is one park on one date, and the price moves with demand: weekdays are cheapest, Saturdays and holiday weekends are dearest. The official “from” prices are below.

Ticket

Entry from

Adult (18+)

Junior (12–17)

Child (4–11)

1-Day Passport

Park opening

from ¥8,900

from ¥7,400

from ¥5,300

After 3 Passport (weekends and holidays only)

15:00

from ¥7,900

from ¥6,600

from ¥4,400

After 5 Passport (weekdays only)

17:00

from ¥6,000

from ¥5,200

from ¥3,800

1-Day Passport (guests with disabilities, plus one companion)

Park opening

from ¥7,100

from ¥5,900

from ¥4,200

Children aged 3 and under get in free. Prices are per park, so Disneyland one day and DisneySea the next means two tickets.

The cap went up this autumn. Until September 2026 the most expensive adult 1-Day Passport was ¥10,900. From the 10 October holiday weekend the official calendar shows two new tiers, ¥11,900 and ¥12,400, mostly on Saturdays, Sundays and holiday weekends. The official calendar only lists adult prices. Japanese ticket trackers report that junior tickets now run ¥7,400 to ¥10,200 and child tickets ¥5,300 to ¥5,900, with the top figures on ¥12,400 days, so check your exact total at checkout.

What do tickets cost on my dates? (October to December 2026)

We went through the official monthly calendars for the rest of 2026. The pattern is consistent enough to plan around.

Day type

Adult 1-Day Passport

Examples from the official calendar

Quietest weekdays

¥9,900

DisneySea, 2–6 November

Normal weekdays

¥10,900

Most Mondays to Fridays in October, November and December

Sundays

¥11,900 (some ¥10,900)

Disneyland 25 October, 6 and 13 December

Most Saturdays and peak holidays

¥12,400

Disneyland 24 and 31 October, 25 and 26 December; DisneySea 14, 21, 22 and 28 November

24 and 27–31 December

¥11,900

Disneyland

Two things the price tables don’t tell you. First, the price is a decent crowd forecast: the operator prices each day on expected demand, so a ¥9,900 day (the cheapest we found from October to December) is about as quiet as it gets and a ¥12,400 day will be rammed. Second, look at the opening hours as well as the price. Most days run 9:00 to 21:00, but DisneySea closes at 18:30 on 27 November and Disneyland closes at 18:30 on 4 December. Same ticket price, two and a half fewer hours.

Moving your visit from a Saturday to the following Monday saves ¥1,500 per adult at the current rates. For a family of four that adds up fast.

When do Tokyo Disney tickets go on sale?

Every day at 14:00 Japan time, tickets go on sale for the same date two months later. So on 19 October, tickets for 19 December went on sale. If that date doesn’t exist two months earlier, sales open at 14:00 on the 1st of the following month.

Dates worth putting in your calendar:

1 January 2027: on sale 1 November 2026, 14:00 JST

31 January 2027: on sale 1 December 2026, 14:00 JST (there’s no 31 November)

29 and 30 April 2027 (start of Golden Week): on sale 1 March 2027, 14:00 JST

14:00 in Tokyo is 05:00 in London in winter (06:00 in British summer time) and midnight in New York in winter. For Saturdays, Christmas week and Golden Week, be online when sales open.

Where can I buy Tokyo Disney tickets?

Short answer: the official site or app first. Here are your real options.

1. Official Tokyo Disney Resort website (Official seller)

The Lowdown: The main sales channel, with English pages, a live availability calendar and e-tickets delivered instantly. You can buy up to ten tickets per transaction.

Where: Online, at the Tokyo Disney Resort Online Reservations & Tickets site.

The Vibe: Functional rather than friendly. Expect a MyDisney account sign-up and some clunky screens.

Price: Face value. Accepted payment includes JCB, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club cards, plus PayPay and Alipay.

Official Link: Tokyo Disney Resort Park Tickets

💡 Japan Pro Tip: Refunds for personal reasons aren’t allowed, but you can change the date or age category of an unused ticket within the same ticket type and pay the difference. Buy the date you want, then adjust if plans shift.

2. Tokyo Disney Resort App (Official app)

The Lowdown: Same tickets, sold in the app. You need the app on the day anyway: the e-ticket lives there, and so does Disney Premier Access.

Where: iOS 16.0 or later, Android 11.0 or later.

The Vibe: Your remote control for the day. Tickets, paid ride slots, restaurant bookings and mobile food orders all run through it.

Price: Face value.

Official Link: Tokyo Disney Resort App and Premier Access

💡 Japan Pro Tip: Set up the app and link everyone’s tickets at your hotel the night before. Doing it on Maihama Station’s mobile signal at 8:30 with a queue behind you is a bad morning.

3. Disney Hotel front desk (Hotel guests only)

The Lowdown: Guests of the Disney Hotels can buy park tickets at their hotel, including for dates that show as sold out online. One ticket per staying guest per day, one park per day.

Where: At your Disney Hotel or the Disney Hotels Service Counter. Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel guests buy at their own hotel only.

The Vibe: The closest thing to a guaranteed ticket on a sold-out day.

Price: Face value, paid by cash or card (some hotels let you charge it to the room).

Official Link: Park tickets for Disney Hotel guests

💡 Japan Pro Tip: If your only possible date is sold out, check Disney Hotel room availability before giving up. A night’s stay is the one route the operator itself says works on sold-out dates.

4. Third-party booking platforms (Resellers)

The Lowdown: Big travel platforms such as Klook and KKday also sell date-specific Tokyo Disney tickets, sometimes with simpler checkout for overseas cards. Stick to large, established platforms.

Where: Online.

The Vibe: Easier for some visitors, but you’re one step removed if something goes wrong.

Price: Varies by platform and date. Compare with the official calendar before you pay.

Official Link: Official notice on resale tickets (Japanese)

💡 Japan Pro Tip: Avoid auction sites, ticket-swap groups and discount ticket shops. The operator says tickets bought there may be voided, with no entry and no refund.

Can I buy Tokyo Disney tickets at the gate?

No. The official FAQ is blunt: park tickets are not sold at Tokyo Disney Resort, and the ticket booth at Disneyland handles information and gift cards, not admission. If tickets are still available, you can buy online or in the app on the day of your visit, even standing at Maihama Station.

What if Tokyo Disney is sold out?

Daily sales are capped, and online sales stop once the limit is hit. Your options, in order:

Keep checking. The official site says sold-out tickets can come back on sale without notice. Cancellations and date changes free up stock.

Switch parks. Disneyland and DisneySea sell out separately. If DisneySea is gone, Disneyland may not be.

Switch to After 3 or After 5. Evening passes are separate products and may still be available.

Book a Disney Hotel. Hotel guests can buy tickets for dates showing as unavailable online (see above).

Try a major reseller, but only a large, established platform.

Tokyo Disneyland or DisneySea: which should I pick?

Same ticket price on the same date, very different parks. If you only have one day, this is the decision that matters most.

1. Tokyo Disneyland (Classic theme park)

Cinderella Castle, the centrepiece of Tokyo Disneyland. Tokyo DisneySea (Nautical theme park)

The Lowdown: Unique to Tokyo, with more adult-skewing rides (Tower of Terror, Journey to the Center of the Earth) and the Fantasy Springs area. It is celebrating its 25th anniversary, “Sparkling Jubilee”, from 15 April 2026 to 31 March 2027.

Where: Disney Resort Line from Resort Gateway Station to Tokyo DisneySea Station, about nine minutes.

The Vibe: More scenery, more food, more walking. Save Disneyland for a second visit or a quick After 5.

Is there still a free Fast Pass at Tokyo Disney?

No. The free 40th Anniversary Priority Pass ended on 31 August 2026. Today the main way to skip a queue is Disney Premier Access (DPA), a paid, time-slot ticket bought in the app after you enter the park. The free Standby Pass still exists, but its official list now covers shops and a character greeting, not rides.

Current DPA prices, per person, per use (some prices changed on 1 September 2026):

Park

Attraction or show

Price

Disneyland

Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast

¥2,500

Disneyland

Big Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain, Pooh’s Hunny Hunt, The Happy Ride with Baymax

¥1,500 each

Disneyland

Monsters, Inc. Pick two or three priorities rather than trying to buy your way around the whole park.

How do I get into Fantasy Springs?

Fantasy Springs is inside Tokyo DisneySea, so a normal DisneySea 1-Day Passport covers it. Its four rides are Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey, Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival, Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure and Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies.

Rides there no longer appear on the official Standby Pass list, so you either queue normally or pay for DPA on the three that offer it (¥2,500 for Frozen, ¥2,000 for Rapunzel and Peter Pan). Tinker Bell has no DPA, so it’s queue-only. Frozen Journey is the one to buy first if you only buy one.

How do I get to Tokyo Disney Resort?

Take the JR Keiyo Line (or Musashino Line) from Tokyo Station to Maihama Station: no changes, about 15 minutes on the train and roughly 20 minutes door to door. The fare is ¥253 by IC card or ¥260 for a paper ticket since JR East’s March 2026 fare rise. Suica and other IC cards work (see our IC card guide).

Tokyo Disneyland: about a five-minute walk from Maihama Station.

Tokyo DisneySea: walk about two minutes to Resort Gateway Station, then take the Disney Resort Line monorail about nine minutes to Tokyo DisneySea Station.

Disney Resort Line ticket

Adult (12+)

Child (11 and under)

Single ride

¥300

¥150

1-Day Pass

¥700

¥350

2-Day Pass

¥900

¥450

3-Day Pass

¥1,200

¥600

4-Day Pass

¥1,500

¥750

The monorail loops four stations in about 13 minutes and runs 6:03 to 23:30.
